Privacy
The short version: we collect only what is needed to verify your payment and reach you if you win, and we publish only a first name, an initial and a ticket number.
What we collect
To register an entry we collect your first name, your father’s name, your phone number, the reference of your payment, and the receipt screenshot you attach.
We do not collect your address, your date of birth, or any bank credentials. We never ask for a PIN or a password for any payment service.
Why we collect it
Your name and payment reference let us match your payment to your entry. Your phone number is how we send your ticket number and how we reach you if you win — it is the only way we contact entrants.
The receipt is the evidence a payment was made. It is used for verification and for the records we are required to keep.
Who can see it
Receipt screenshots are stored privately and are visible only to signed-in administrators. They are never published and never served to the public web.
Winners are published as a first name and an initial together with the winning ticket number — for example “Abebe K., Nº 1372”. Your full name and phone number are never published.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with sponsors or advertisers.
What this site stores on your device
If you register an entry, this site saves the entry’s reference number in your browser so the “my tickets” panel can look it up later. Your phone number is never saved — you re-enter it each time, and the server checks it before showing any status.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long it is kept
Entries and their receipts are kept for the duration of the campaign and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep records of the draw, then deleted.
Deleting an entry also deletes its receipt image.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete an entry that has not yet been approved. Contact us using the details in the footer.
An approved entry that is in a live draw cannot be deleted before the draw has run, because it forms part of the record of that draw.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Administrator accounts are protected by hashed passwords and server-side sessions that can be revoked.
No system is perfect. If you believe your information has been exposed, please contact us immediately.
